tony moly bcdation cushion + Review
As a revamp of the first BCDation, Tony Moly has come out with a newer version of the BB/CC/foundation. The BCDation update was released in two forms, bottle and cushion with a sleek, black packaging (which TBH is my aesthetic ~ nothing beats a jet black reboot).
At first, I bought the bottle version of the BCDation + but I ended up with the cushion. Honestly, the package was arriving late and I didn't have the energy to email back or anything so I stuck with the cushion. Oh well, let's get straight into the review.

Colour
I purchased the BCDation + in 03 Warm Beige, and as expected of Korean face products, the colour ran off lighter than pictured. But for me, the difference was unnoticeable in natural light. In artificial light, you could see the slight difference between my natural skin tone and the BCDation +.

without with
You can see that it's got a slight pink-undertone but it's barely there and looks more whitening and brightening as promised in the advertising. Overall, there is nothing that really bothers me about the colour.
application
The first thing that hit me at first was the smell of the compact. From what I've read, the strong scent of the BCDation cushion was a deal breaker for some people. Honestly, I didn't mind the smell, it was kinda pleasant. Maybe it was just a variation in product.
As someone with barely any blemishes, problematic areas or redness (#blessed) I only really had to use a very light amount. From the amount of product that was picked up, I think I got a pretty decent and natural cover that leaves quite a dewy, glowy finish.
What I also noticed was that it was quite sticky.
Durability
I have a really deep crease that runs from the inner corner of my eye outwards (idek how it's there) and like many foundations or concealers of I have tried, it doesn't take long for it to settle into that one fine line. However, for the most part, the BCDation sits well on my skin (though you must take into consideration I don't have any uneven textures on my skin). I didn't get to test the full durability of the bb/cc/foundation as we were in the middle of a heat wave and tbh my skin would've melted off if I went outside. But judging by the way in began to also crease slightly around my mouth about 30/40 minutes after application (without any primer or anything to set it), the product would probably last around 6ish hours?
Overall
For someone like me who has normal to dry skin, no acne scarring, problematic skin or little redness, I feel that I can really work with this cushion (despite the negative response). The compact doesn't leave you looking oily despite the dewy finish and leaves the skin feeling hydrated. The coverage worked to a light/medium and so really, if you have really good skin, I do recommend the BCDation Cushion + as it gets the job done for us who only need to work with less. As for those who lean towards the oily side, I would push for this cushion, especially due to the said dewy finsih. It may make you look greasy if not set with powder however the sticky of the product can act as a hurdle if your;re planning to do such. And for the rest of ya'll, if you're willing to try this cushion, by all means go ahead. But if you're looking for something a little matte or with a full coverage, I'd say you should probably look else where.
