Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder Review

INNISFREE No-Sebum mineral powder + Review

So I bought Innisfree's No-Sebum Mineral Powder after hearing all the great reviews to see if it will really kept my skin oil-free as it claims to have powerful sebum control. This purchase costed around USD$5 off IBBI. Now let's get reviewing!

Colour

This No-Sebum line's colour only comes in white whereas the No-Sebum Blue line comes in a tinted beige colour. When applied be sure to pat it across your preferred areas or it will leave white powder spots! Also if you have any skin flaking off or enlarged pores, the powder doesn't do a good job blending it into your skin but instead leaves a white outline. So a way to fix this could be to exfoliate, moisturise and then apply a primer of your choice before using the product.

Application

Hopefully I'm using this correctly but when I carry the mineral powder around, naturally it is shaken so when I open it up to reapply throughout the day, the powder is already finely distributed across the puff. But when I'm not carrying it around, I tend to give it a little shake before opening to use it. When applied, the powder can actually be seen as it's not transparent, but it does lose colour when you begin to puff it across your face. The immediate feeling is very smooth and it doesn't leave residue on your fingers; it also doesn't affect your foundation or base makeup and thus the application is very simple and fast.

Durability

Since the application is light, depending on your skin type eg. oily or combination, reapplication is almost to bare minimal as the powder really keeps your skin feeling fresh. Normally I reapply every 4-5 hrs depending on what I'm doing. The only problem would be that when you sweat, the powder is loosened so its not as long wear which might pose a problem for anyone who's facing a work-loaded day.

Conclusion

Overall I really liked the No Sebum Mineral Powder because it really does a good job in not only keeping my face oil free but keeping my face makeup on point. Although the combination of sweat and the powder is not good, I would definitely recommend this product to those who have more oily to combination skin as it really gives you a matte look. This product is also great for those who like to keep their makeup to minimal, where you could just do your point makeup and a slight touch up to your face with the No Sebum Mineral Powder and you are good to go! I rate this product a 4.5/5 as it truely is a great product just sweating really does affect the durability of the powder!
