Etude House Play 101 Pencil Review
I can’t stop fangirling over how convenient the Play 101 Pencil is. The series has 50 different colours that vary in 5 different types of textures. Since the series has multiple colours, buying several for different uses on your face can also be rewarding as a collection. The design of the pencil is simple and durable. The product is pushed up by twisting the end of the pencil which includes a sharpener.
Product
Simply full makeup: Various pencils which could be used for eyes, lips, cheeks, etc.
Rich colour with a single drawing: Rich and pigmented colours that do not need layering over and over
5 various textures: Creamy, matte, glossy, shimmering, and glitter types available. Pick your favourite texture and experience the easy and fast makeup
Long lasting waterproof function: Made of ‘highly functional waterproof polymer’ for long-lasting makeup (Some of the glossy Play 101 pencils do not have this ‘highly functional waterproof polymer’.
Colour

From top to bottom, left to right. These are the colours that are currently available at the Etude House website.

Suggestions made by Etude House
Colours 1-5 and 27-50 is best used as eyeliner, all pencils can be used as eyeshadow. 6-10 is most suitably used as a makeup base. 6 can also be used as a highlighter and 8 as a concealer. Pencil 11-26 can be used as a lip product or blush and pencils 41 and 42 are best used for eyebrows.
Conclusion
I purchased the #20 Creamy pink and must I say, the product is exactly as described by Etude House. The product is so rich that the product only needs to be applied once as it is very pigmented. What I like the most about the Play 101 pencil is how light it feels on your lips when you wear it. Since these pencils can be used for almost everything on your face, it would be a suitable product for beginners to try out as a lip liner or blush.
